RETTOCAMME biographies
Kimberly Braton Lantz (performer) received her BFA on merit scholarship from the University of Michigan, where she had the opportunity to study under Peter Sparling, Linda Spriggs, Bill DeYoung and Gay Delanghe, while also performing works by Pearl Primus, Martha Graham's Panorama, and Paul Taylor's Esplanade. She is thrilled to be dancing with RETTOCAMME again! Recently performed in Colin Huggins' Hamlet adaptation "PRO- Prince Williamsburg" and will be touring with 2020 Productions east coast premiere of the play/flim "Hypocrisy." Other credits includes "House Plague" choreographed by Jody Ripplinger (AIDA), Don't Tell Mama's cabaret and Ellen Stokes Shadle/Danceworks. Kimberly's choreography has been featured at the Offspring Festival NYC, the Williamsburg Dance Festival and Dance Space Center. A current member of the Jeanne Ruddy Dance Company she also teaches pilates, yoga, and movement classes in both Philadelphia and New York City.
Marcia Brooks (perfomer) is a dancer and choreographer, originally from Miami, FL. In Miami, she attended New World School of the Arts high school division and continued there, earning a BFA in Dance. While at New World, she performed lead roles in works by Michael Utoff, Jose Limon and Geri Houlihan, among others. Since moving to New York in 1997 she has danced with Tina Croll, Melanie Morris, Amanda Jones, Paula Pleassas, Ann Robideaux and Ellen Stokes Shadle. Marcia has taught at various schools in Miami as well as Virginia School of the Arts and Whitman College in Walla Walla, WA and is currently the Director of Upper School Dance at Greenwich Academy in Connecticut, where she lives with her son and husband. This is her first season with RETTOCAMME.
Emma Cotter (choreographer) works in the fields of choreography, graphic design, art conservation and framing. She has performed with Ann Arbor Dance Works, the Emily Berry Dance Company, Ellen Stokes Shadle/Danceworks, and in works by Kimberly Braton, Gay Delanghe, Jessica Fogel, Martha Graham, Peter Sparling and Robin Wilson, among others. She has collaborated on numerous theatrical and mixed media projects in New York City, including Rebecca Whitehurst's video dance series 21 Dances in 21 Days (2007), Teresa Wimmer's A Trio Suite: On the Flip Side at Tenri Cultural Institute (2006) and Common Factor's production of Jason Lindner's Egyptian Rat Screw (2001). She has taught master classes at Greenwich Academy in Greenwich, CT and her alma mater, the University of Michigan.
Elizabeth Douglas (performer) holds a Masters in Dance Education from New York University. She has performed with Washington Square Repertory Dance Company in works by choreographers including Douglas Dunn and Alwin Nikolais. She also has performed with the Twilight Ensemble at St. Mark's Church, Arron Wendel and Dancers, and Ellen Stokes Shadle/Danceworks. Currently, she is on the faculty for several children's dance programs including Arts Gate Center (affiliated with H.T.Chen and Dancers), 92nd Street Y Harkness Dance Center, and in Grandma's Attic. Elizabeth also continues to choreograph her own work. She is pleased to be a part of RETTOCAMME.
Aaron Graham (performer) is a founding member of City Dance Ensemble in Washington, DC, performing with the company in 1996 and 1998 to 2001. In 1997 she trained at the University of Chile in Santiago. Aaron co-managed and taught dance in DC area schools under the DARE Dance Program from 1999 to 2001. Aaron also danced for Miya Hisaka Silva of El Teatro de Danza Contemporanea de El Salvador. She performed works by Paul Gordon Emerson, Tony Powell, Dana Tai Soon Burgess, Tara Pierson Dunning, and others through the Georgetown University Dance Company. Aaron holds a BSFS from Georgetown University and an MPA from Columbia University. She relocated to New York City in 2001 and dances with Rettocamme.
Elisa LaBelle (performer) earned a Bachelor of Dance Arts from the University of Michigan and a Master of Science in Physical Therapy from Central Michigan University. She has performed with Ann Arbor Dance Works, Peter Sparling Dance Company, and Eisenhower Dance Ensemble and in works by Bill De Young, Jessica Fogel, Peter Sparling, Sandra Torijano, and Martha Graham. She has been working with RETTOCAMME since relocating to NYC in 2003, and remains active in both dance and physical therapy professions.
Amanda Miller (wigs/hair/make-up) A resident of Manhattan, Amanda has designed wigs, hair and makeup for the Pearl Theatre Company, Brooklyn Academy of Music, Lincoln Center Mostly Mozart Festival, the Princeton Festival, the Hangar Theatre and
Williamstown Theatre Festival as well as the dance company, RETTOCAMME. She is also the hair and makeup consultant for the Mannes School of Music opera program. She has collaborated with designers in the wig shop, Watson Associates, on numerous broadway productions including the currently running: Wicked, Jersey Boys, The Color Purple, and Les Miserables. As a member of Hairstylist and Makeup Artist Union Local
798, she also works for the Metropolitan Opera Company.
